cut both lawns at parents' for the second time this year. sets and shallots are moving. peas seem to have gone to austrailia but the ones in the greenhouse are filling out the pods nicely.  cabbage going to seed so finishing soon but the ones planted in the greenhouse earlier will be ready to eat, a few leaves at a time, soon.

first half dozen tomato plants are in the greenhouse together with 8 Tumblers.  Two buckets of weeds removed from parents' front garden

You may need some advice DM  Roll Eyes

I bought an Aronia (Black Chokeberry) bush for 50p yesterday at Wilkos... seconds before meeting DM and Penfold with their tomato plants... the store was also selling tomato/chilli specific fertiliser too at 75% off an already reduced price, and Growing Success slug pellets at around £3.50 instead of the normal £6 ( I swear by them as they improve soil. not poison it, get better when they are wet, are "safe" with kids and animals, and are the only anti-slug treatment allowed by the organic Soil Association). Plus the slugs don't die in a slime-fest on the surface, but dig to die....
