I can't get flash player installed in Internet Explorer...

and before anyone starts chirping about it being shit, i know.... But hubby still likes and uses it

I've been to the flash site and done the steps... then nothing..
restarted browser, rebooted puter... nothing.


Been hunting for a manual install but can't find one that is for internet explorer

it was giving the yellow active x bar... but now it's not even giving that.
