Inevitably, bad light stopped play in mid-afternoon here, umpires Peter
  Hartley and George Sharp deciding the pace of Surrey's Chris Jordan was a
  little too much in the worsening gloom, much to the relief of batsmen Brad
  Hodge and Luke Sutton. The timing of the stoppage - at 3.13pm - meant tea
  was taken ahead of the scheduled 3.40pm interval.
