We got Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin by doing that.  Not to mention Mao Tse Tung, Kim Jong Il and Ho Chi Minh.

Personally, I'd rather we be damned for trying to clean up the mess we made back in the 70's and 80's because Billy Bo Bob Bubba Clinton didn't do a damn thing about it.

Yeah, and they bit us in the ass, too, but it could have been far, far worse if we hadn't eventually done something about Hitler.

As for Stalin, well... there wasn't much that could be done about him.
