Hmmmm. I smell an election looming......

I smell more money being thrown into Wales.  I really don't mean to offend any of the Welsh people, and don't hold it against them, but I feel this is spectacularly unfair on the rest of Britain.

and that`s exactly what I thought when I heard it on the news this morning

I added a comment to the website and was asked to participate in an on-air discussion... I said that parkers should get validation after their visit/appointment... and that's the way the local hospital will be going.

No validation... big parking fee

It's all down to Brown breaking up the UK as the EU wants him to do. The more differences there are between "the regions" the more it will break up. He'll return to Scotland after his time as PM and chuckle loudly throughout his large-pensioned retirement...

Many English health authorities have now a surplus of cash after the big cuts of the last year, but they aren't spending it on patient care, but on technology to aid their admin staff. Technology which is not improving effienciency but just adding costs.

Welsh Health Minister Edwina Hart said it was "putting patients first" and accused the DoH of "sour grapes".

Ms Hart said the money collected from car parking fees represented 0.17% of the total annual budget for Wales' NHS trusts and called on trust chairmen to raise their financial concerns with her directly.
