I'm doing my 17 mile Bikeathon for Leukaemia research again on the 13th July, hopefully it won't persist it down this year like last year, if anyone would like to sponsor me I've got a page here http://www.justgiving.com/mikehf

Thanks to any one who can help

My son and 6 others did a sponsored bike ride 2 weeks ago. It was for Sheffield children's hospital. They went from Barnsley to Robin Hood(silly name) airport. 56 miles in total.

Well back from it, and what a difference in weather this year, sun all the way. last year on a couple of steep hills with the rain I had to get of and push ,  hard work but I managed to cycle up both of them this year on the lowest gear on my big cog, I still had two more cogs to go down to if needed.

Did the 17 miles in about 1¼ hours and like last year was first back except I was back before any of the 10 milers as well this year
