OMG I just googled it and watched the trailer - it looks awesome/terrifying. Should be even better than Independence Day!

If he gets the chance, Elnom needs to see it in a theater for the full effect.  It's not going to be "as good" on DVD.

  I want to see it, but I get annoyed with that silly camera work.  I can't tell what's going on with it, and it doesn't add any realism in my opinion.

CSI Miami has started using pic-in-pic........ that is annoying too...

  I just don't like any form of gimmicky camera work.  It adds nothing to the story, and often detracts from it.  One camera, locked off, per angle, please.

  I blame Steven Spielberg, with Saving Private Ryan.  Ironically, it worked very well, in that film.

It's filmed in the format that the people who watch YouTube and MySpace videos are used to.  Movie is only 80 minutes long too.
Short and choppy.

Usually you see a monster movie from the wide open angles to catch the monster in all it's CG glory.  This is more down to the human level with the monster looming in the background.

It really did work with this movie.  Annoying maybe, but it still worked.
