The word "gay" is now the most frequently used term of abuse in schools, says a report.

Every generation of schoolchildren has them, the playground put-downs that can leave a pupil's reputation in tatters among their peers. For the current generation, "gay", "bitch" and "slag" are the most frequently used terms of abuse, according to a survey by the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL).

When we were kids we used to say someone was batty, as in stupid, but don't know if thats the same as batty boy. Huh

My Monday lesson of 8 boys (age 14-18) sounds like this from the moment they arrive at college:
"Your gay!"
"No your gay"
"I'm not cos I shagged ya mum"
"ha ha ha he shagged your mum"
"Shurrup gay twat"
"Ya mum was good"
"Your a druggie you are, you got beat up by a girl"
"Arrgghh ger off gay boy" ....... etc... etc...
