our wedding was cheaper Tongue

registry office £35
clothes less than £50 for us both, we made do with what we had for the most part with some additional bits.
transport, free though we did threaten to catch the bus if we couldn't get lifts
food i say a max of about £50 ish (me and mother did it before the reception and after we got married) Wink
ballons and napkins/plates £10
hall £25 deposit which we got back
entertainment £30 for a disco and a duet.
rings can't remember, but we bought them months before we even set a date, i think with the discount i had it was about £60 total.

My wedding was £110 Smiley but we had no guests, reception or posh dress etc... as it was in Las Vegas.

Our rings were quite costly though.

Our wedding wasn't  expensive, but it was 40 years ago nearly. Just had a register office do. I didn't want a big wedding. My wedding ring was from H Samuel and cost £3.10 shillings.(£3.50).
