Did you ever have an imaginary friend?

I had quite a few, my mum says that I used to hold hands with them all in town
Emma had an imaginary horse when she was 2 or 3, she used to 'ride' it to Tesco and make me tie it up outside. Then when we come out I used to 'forget' about it until halfway across the carpark she used to shrill "MY HORSE!!!"
then make me walk back to the front door, untie it and let her ride it home
I used to look a right prat untieing nothing from the barriers.
She now has imaginary dogs and a friend called Chloe.

Well I wouldn't call him my friend- more like an "adversary".

Sometimes, the characters from my TOTMM stories seem more alive than the people around me...

My mother said I did but I don't remember her. I only remember the strange recurring dream I had as a child where a man pushed me off Beachy Head - we were dressed in Edwardian clothes and had a car so I think we were well off - I used to wonder if he got away with it - then I grew up!
