An old lady up the road always puts on a great show in her front garden... mainly hanging baskets and pots.

This morning she was more than a little distraught because all 8 of her baskets were found strewn accross the road yards from her home. 6 large pots had been upended, and 8 solar lamps smashed on the pavement.

A garden gnome is missing too, one she has had since her childhood.

No-one heard a thing, it wasn't until the postman arrived and knocked to tell her what he had found, that she realised what had happened.

We're all having a collection to replace her plants, compost and lamps, but this time she is putting them all in the rear garden.

The police haven't even turned up hours after being called.

Surprised the police didn't just give the incident number over the phone, that' what they did initially for my ID fraud.

I'm willing to bet it wasn't kids, this sort usually isn't, it's usually drunks on the way home from the pubs and clubs

Her sons have spread the word of a reward after a taxi driver told their taxi driver neighbour about 2 yobs with 2 fat GFs throwing the baskets in the road... with "shining things" in the GFs' hands....
