Recent research on body image showed that girls as young a 5 years old, wanted to 'grow up and look like Barbie', so ban her and her unrealistic shaped body globally, I say!

I still think it is a concern when a 5 year old child is faced with a Barbie doll and a 'normal' sized doll and then says 'This is how I want to look', in reference to the Barbie. Girls are getting body concious earlier and earlier and I think this comes from what society labels as acceptable and unacceptable, sometimes glaringly obvious, sometimes incredibly subtle
