I believe that there's an extension, called "FasterFox" that does the same thing.

I don't use Firefox, much, though, coz I have Opera.  Grin

  Sounds good.  I might try it when it's no longer a beta.  The latest version of FF has a couple of annoying quirks, occasionally.
