We got ourselves a little Xmas gift -- a new MacBook!  We bought it online the day after Thanksgiving when there were lot's of specials going on.

Anyway, I really haven't spent any time with it until tonight.  I'm attending a Drupal Barcamp on Saturday and want to take it to that and I might use it for a PHP/MySql class I'm taking this semester at the local community college.

So, suffice it to say, I'm trying to learn how to navigate in it and I'm just wondering if anyone else uses a Mac here.  So far, I'm not crazy about the "Finder" which is the Mac equivalent of Windows Explorer.  However, installing apps is a breeze -- I'm liking that.

Jim has a co-worker that is a Mac guy.  I'm sending him to work tomorrow with a laundry list of questions for this guy.  Smiley

We got it to have the opportunity to learn something different.  Jim knows everything there is to know about PCs and we've heard great things about Macs and it was time to expand our knowledge.  Yes, it's been challenging, but it will be worth it to learn something new.

used to run Mac's far easier to run than PC's, faster and they last a lot longer
