? similar window effect the the beryl window wobble..
has a cube too, though not as good as beryl

I don't use it cos I don't have drivers.. when I enable drivers there's a windows vista effect.. CRASH EVERYWHERE OH NOES  Lips Sealed
and it's damn easy to install beryl.. I'd rather have that than the desktop effects


btw brains.. I use ubuntu at school (system admin doesn't know yet sssh) and those comps don't have graphics cards either.. works fine though
better than here even..

  Yes.  I disabled them, and was very impressed, both with the desktop effects, and Beryl, but I get better performance with my graphics card drivers installed, and I need functionality, not pretty effects, really.

i did like the cube but won't use it.

  It did get the kids, 'Oohing and Ahhing', though.  I think they're coming around...

Beryl does have some functional stuff
like take notes on screen.. I use that sometimes.. mostly to just draw some stickman on screen when I'm bored
or the screenshot thing.. kinda usefull too

my daughter loves the minimise and maximise effects

which ones? there's like 10 or so..
