o.k have run into problems

windows crashed and says to run a chkdsk...
I ran a chkdsk and repair, and it broke completely, couldn't boot linux either (it lost the MBR/GRUB)

so i run live cd fixed the linux partition no problem, but the windows partition is completely screwed... as in almost complete wiped. Might not have installed right or the partition wasn't formatted correctly to begin with.

So i have 3 options,
reinstall the windows partition
completely wipe windows and give up on it
or 3, wipe, install windows, and then install linux (the best way to dual boot)

not doing anymore tonight at any rate..
glad my files are still in tact though

i didn't use that after, it didn't work right..
thinking about it i was having problems before i sorted grub and started installing stuff on windows so i suspect the partition was broke to begin with

trying again...

i'm a bit flummoxed what the problem is.. the partitions can't interact with each other, so they can't be messing each other up.
I might possibly have a wanky drive Undecided
