The people behind Firefox are planning a big marketing push for the latest version of the open source web browser.

Firefox 1.5 is due to be available for download on 29 November, marking the end of a thriving year for the browser.

I wonder why they don't push the full suite. I'd've thought that having all all-in-one browser/e-mail client/newsreader/whatnot would have quite an appeal. After all, Outlook Express is just as bloated and security-ignorant as IE, innit?

  Agreed.  Plus, it's a pain in the arse.  I never use it.
