May be possibly...............trying Ubuntu alone again as a friend elsewhere has got the diabetes software I need to work to work under wine in Ubuntu and I can live without my Sims 2 game right now........

Got all my documents backed up etc etc so I guess it depends how I feel tomorrow but I did like it before I just couldnt not be able to download my blood glucose readings.........

Need to work out how to partition the 250gig drive for best performance for Ubuntu on its own..........

I must be insane or bl**dy bored...........

Still got a friend who's willing to help get things working under wine etc if I get stuck there by talking me through doing whatever needs doing etc etc...........

I did really like it Lisa just the diabetes software is obviously important and now I have someone whos got it going they can talk me through setting it up to work on mine (hopefully) !!

Still what is there to lose hey - bar my sanity !!

Actually in away I am looking forward to doing it !!

  Some probs with video in web pages.  Miss some Windows stuff that just won't run in Linux, too.

I quit Angry

I showed the Ubuntu disc to the drive and windows went bottoms up Roll Eyes

Spent all day installing and tweaking it back to how it was  Shocked

Ubuntu will have to darn well lump it for now  Grin

Need to finish tweaking then do a Ghost image Wink
