What do people recommend for a media player that looks quite plain, and just gives me the title of the track I'm playing?  Also, how easy is it to upgrade from 6.06 to 7.04?

Don't have a dual-boot.  Gone the whole hog.

Also, does anyone know of any half-decent P2P progs?  Apart from Limewire.  I hate Limewire.

oo nice one, bet the kids love you laugh
as far as i am aware you put
Code:
gksu "update-manager -c"
in the terminal window and then the upgrade manager will alert you that there is a new version.
I think you would have to do it twice, once to edgy and then to feisty.. i don't think you can go straight to feisty..

here is a link to the "how to upgrade to edgy" thread on ubuntu support
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EdgyUpgrades

someone else asking the same question http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=446500&highlight=upgrade+dapper+to+feisty

i use torrents (azureus), but i think there is an emule alternative? have you searched the repository for p2p? not sure what is available.
