  I was dreadfully bored with XP, but....  Graphically, 7.04 is slower, (Yes, I have the correct linux drivers.)  and not much else is quicker.  I have to constantly seek out alternatives to things I could just click on and download and install previously, and I've never felt like punching a cocky fifteen year old in the face, before.  Also, I don't want to scream, "IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW, FECK OFF AND USE YOUR MATE'S COMPUTER!" again, in a voice so loud, it's rubbed all the skin off the inside of my throat.  laugh  (I'll stick with it.  I'm still a newborn.  I was appalled with early versions of DOS.)

i find ubuntu much much faster, so much so that using windows annoys me as it is sooo slow in comparison
