This ain't at all bad, for a freebie.

It's not "Blaze Media Pro", nor "Camtasia Studio", but it's clean, clear and easy to use, giving more than acceptable results.

It's called "Avidemux".

Only hassle, for me, is that it relies on it's own codecs and XVid, which I use extensively, won't work. I have to convert them to uncompressed, before I can edit them.
