There is a Phorm blocking add on for Firefox http://www.dephormation.org.uk/

Just tried it and I am using mozilla but it popped up with
Firefox prevented this site from asking you to install software on your computer  Huh

you should have had a bar appear at the top of your browser, you need to click options and then allow.

Just  had a site that i use frequently give me a pop up warning me of PHORM and i had no idea before today!..
