why do you use "Internet Explorer"?

personally I don't see any reason and I haven't touched it in years

Because it does everything I want it to do, and I see no reason to use anything else.  I just happen to prefer it over all the others.

Also, 99.999999999999999999999999% of websites are written predominantly for IE.  It's only the hard-core IE haters that specifically code their pages to make it impossible for IE users to view them.  And I have no reason to visit any hard-core IE hater's page...

That's why I use it.
