It had to be done during the fixing process as i was completely clueless what the problem was, so I went for the fiddling approach, which didn't work...
so then i had the sledgehammer out instead

yeah thats really odd in the settings. i have to adjust it by decimal. took a few attempts to figure it out..
The old one was always ½ hour out and you couldn't do 0.5
Well there is no wap option anymore.
But it is scaled far better on the phone now
It's a bit bright, but it works. :D
