Gordon Ramsey rescuing another deadbeat restaurant.
Death Wish with Bruce Willis. It's brutal.
I started to watch a few films I recorded. They were all B movies, so all dialogue and no story.
Dickinsons Real Deal.
Just seen a Spitfire flying over Charlecote magnificent site and sound
Death in Paradise on the iPlayer
Masterchef Australia later. I've got 20 hours of it recorded.
I can't remember the last time that I watched anything in real time.
Signs (Mel Gibson).
Having a look at GB news. Took me forever to find it.

It's all fuzzy and poor audio on freeview.
I found it on 626 Virgin and it was much better than the ar$e licking bbc news that I'd stopped watching.
I think HoN is planning to watch the Welsh match. So I will be playing on my apps.
I've got Death at the cottage recorded over Saturday and Sunday nights. I'll try to watch some of it later.
England match
Fox is going behind the Disney+ paywall in a couple of days, so I am watching all my Fox recordings (NCIS especially) in case they get blocked on Virgin.
Just watched Andy Murray win a game.
Billion pound cruise on more 4 channel 195
It's very good 👍 a ship the size of 4 football pitches.
The girl in the spider's web. The sequel to The girl with the dragon tattoo. Swedish but in perfect English.
Dirty dancing
The Olympics. Have had it on in the background each morning since it started.
Just as the rain stated to come down around 10pm, a neighbour started hanging strings of twinkling lights across the upstairs wall of his house. Masonry nails straight into the wall that had been repainted just a couple of days ago. He finished after midnight, so his close neighbours weren't happy.
I was out the front earlier, and his adjacent neighbour told me that his daughter is 16 on Tuesday, and is marrying her cousin the same day. But partying will occur over "several days".
Day #2 of the muslim wedding near us.
The girl's family were all out front waiting for the grand entrance of the groom.
I could hear the revving and popping of a sports car at the end of thee road. Then a loud roar as it raced towards up.
The "BANG!" and a lot of smoke from the engine bay.
A 5-year-old Lamborghini Huracán stuffed.
The groom immediately got out, kicked the car and wandered down to the awaiting crowd.
The recovery team were here in minutes, and they struggled to load it onto the low leader, resorting to using old planks left out for the binmen. A lot of scraping on the first try.
San Andreas Mega Quake, on the horror channel. It's mostly forgettable, but nothing better on, so it's on in the background ::)
Gok Wan's Chinese Takeaway series 1 is set to record today. I didn't like him in his fashion shows, but he's a talented cook (coming from a family that ran a Chinese takeaway).
I ordered stuff for Pol from Amazon so got another free month of Prime video.
So it's been a binge session watching Clarkson's Farm. He's a hoot with very bad luck.
I finished Future Man on Prime, now watching Jack Ryan.
Since getting my Echo I'm actually watching less TV and listening to the radio more

Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone fishing. Makes me realise what beautiful places we have in the UK
James May... our man in Japan.
The last of the submarine thriller, Vigil.
Kids poured out of 8 cars to go across the road for a hallowe'en party. Twice the dogs have escaped and had a dozen kids chasing them in the road.
The family opposite took down their hallowe'en garden decorations this afternoon.
Now the garden is in full Xmas decorations!
Fireworks have already started, and it's still fairly light out there.
My dog trembling due to fireworks.
Hardly any fireworks made it high enough into the sky so that we could see them.
Military wives choir film. So good .
An audience with Adele
3 helicopters circling nearby. Judging by the speed they left, I reckon they were Ospreys.
The birds in the Rowan tree outside my lounge window, they are going mad for the berries today
I'm not usually one for "costume dramas" but Vienna Blood has me hooked.
Over the past few months, on the opposite side of the road:
House #1 foul drain blocked, Rodded and jetted.
House #2 foul drain blocked, Rodded and jetted. Jet nozzle jammed in pipe, deep hole dug to free it and replace a collapsed pipe.
House #3 foul drain blocked, Rodded and jetted.
House #4 foul drain blocked, Rodded and jetted.
And today:
House #5 foul drain blocked, Rodded and jetted.
House #6 foul drain blocked, Rodded and jetted.
If I can spot a pattern, why can't Welsh Water? ???
Smokey and the Bandit
HoN appears to be watching an antiques programme. I'm ignoring it, although I usually enjoy them.
Motown at the BBC. Superb.
A documentary about Fleetwood Mac around midnight.
Michael Portillo on trains
I've set the tele for series link at 9pm for Peaky blinders.
3 episodes of QI XL recorded. All ones I had seen before.
I've been watching "Billy Connolly does...". All new interviews and most of the clips are totally new to me.
Hilarious and thoughtful at the same time.

I've got it on series link. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm watching Masterchef Australia in fits and starts. It took me 3 hours to watch an hours worth last night. I swear this dog needs to go out as soon as she hears the theme tune.
The local gang of house sparrows, 3 starlings and a blue tit happily feeding on fatballs hung from the quince, with a pair of blackbirds and a wood pigeon feeding underneath on the ground.
Then in zoomed a magpie to break up the party, but as it started to fly off, it was knocked out of the air by a jackdaw.
Drama!
The weather for tomorrow. We've got blustery rain at 15 and once again London has 20c . So I had to turn the TV off when I blurted out Oh, p!$$ off London.im sick of them gloating about the weather.
Les Miserables at the O2 concert
Fantastic
Steel Magnolias. I've watched it a dozen times and still end up in bits at the end
My kitchen rules Australia
The idiots on the main road out back turning around because they don't think road closed signs apply to them
The Lazarus Project. It's been a while since a sci-fi series caught my attention.
Just turned politics NW off. Two grown men literally talking over each other. One Conservative slagging off Labour and the Labour man slagging off Conservative. I can't hear what either one is saying.
TV has gone off.
The news about Boris.
I was watching a Blackbird in the strawberry patch. It pointed out a large Frau Schindler, so I had to pick it early.
A total idiot, it's bad enough and illegal to tide electric scooters on the pavement, but I've just seen oine in the middle of a main road!

I am regularly overtaken by them in the 20mph zones. And by bicycles!
New series of Masterchef Australia on W 125
My favourite show ever
I've been watching the death row and justice series on bbc3 Tuesday/Wednesday nights.
I used to think it was cut and dried. A terrible crime means death. I used to think that we should have it here. After watching how the jury is impacted by voting for the death penalty though, I'm changing my mind.
Fed up of the Royal programmes now. I'm working my way through what is recorded.
My own opinion, it should all go on bbc3, bbc4 , its 2 and go back to normal programmes for the main channels.
Police and military helicopters practising for the Royal visit across the river at the cathedral tomorrow. The paths both sides will be sealed-off from dawn tomorrow.
I've turned the funeral off. I could only take half an hour of it.
Quote from: El on September 19, 2022, 12:33:36 PMI've turned the funeral off. I could only take half an hour of it.
The procession had me falling asleep. I changed from the BBC as Huw's voice was like a lullaby.
I switched back on at 3 and suffered 'the long walk" so that went off again. Now on the last 5 mins ....I hope ::)
I must say though that messages between me and my kids have kept me entertained :D
And....the news is showing bits of it again!
I've got 14hrs of Masterchef Australia to be getting on with.
Quote from: El on September 19, 2022, 16:11:45 PMAnd....the news is showing bits of it again!
It's the coronation next.... Charlie 24/7.
Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps bbc3
Our local Lidl has a ground floor car park with the shop above supported on steel girders. Bright yellow steel girders.
I was waiting in the car for the lad when a large black saloon came in, past me, then turned left into a slot. The car hit the girder with the front wing, but the driver kept going, scraping all along the side of the car. He then got out and walked to the shop entrance. About 80 years old, and totally unfazed by what he had just done.
Doctor Who, They pulled out all the stops for her last episode.
Silver came flying up to on the porch, hissing and spitting. Then n 8 foot tall T.rex appeared.
Students walking past after parking their cars. Not one is clothed for the weather. T-shirts and even shorts!
4 students got into a car across the road, then drove off with a rucksack on the roof.
I'm a celeb. I hope they have smarmmy Hancock squirming.
Cold and hungry with a bit of luck 🤞
The rain.
Contemplating getting out of bed
Masses of birds eating the fat balls. 26 sparrows, 2 coal tits, a blue tit, 6 starlings, a female blackbird and the occasional group of longtail tits.
Our neighbours opposite had an early delivery of full size fence panels. They are 1cm too big to fit through the brick shed door.
So 3 blokes are hauling them over the shed roof, soaked to the skin after the rain and hail.
Had a great evening, two and a half hours of my favourite group of all time. The Moody Blues, on Sky Arts ;D ;D ;D
Venus was incredibly bright last evening, low in the west.
It was just a few degrees from the moon when I went to bed
Police at the house that had been raided and seized, but was stripped of everything this morning.
The funeral of the 2 lads that died when the bike they were on crashed is being held now. An aircraft was towing a message banner and going around and around the area. Now that has been replaced by a larger aircraft circling.
The circling aircraft is probably keeping an eye on the aftermath of the youths' funeral. It's a National Police Service aircraft.
I saw stars for the first time in months last night.
Loads of police on main road out back, which they have shut
The Beatles' Documentary "8 days a week". I was surprised how short most of their earlier songs were.
"The Secret Genius of Modern Life" with Hannah Fry. She does not take herself too seriously, so is quite a bit of fun.
A Northern bloke called "bald foodie guy" on youtube, buys something new to him every day then reviews it.
It's amazing how he buys the same thing I did, but I bought it a couple of days earlier.
I've been watching Marvels' Moon Knight on Disney+. It's quirky superhero stuff but very engaging.
A lycra warrior pulled out to pass a row of (illegally) parked cars on a left-hand bend. Right into an oncoming van. The bike went under, the rider went right over. He was up before I pulled up, already cussing about his "rights" and that he had a headcam.
The van driver started filming and asked for insurance details. It was getting hot, so I reversed and got out of there. I had the van's reg, so I called 101 and gave my details as a witness.
A fire tender pulled out just after I passed the fire station. I turned right, it turned right. I turned right again, it turned right again. Then I turned right into the ALDI car park and it followed me!
ALDI had been evacuated due to a small roof fire in an extension being built.
The car park containing Aldi and B&M has an 18" high step-over fence around it. It gets pulled down by local yobs as it blocks their getaway route from any police pursuit.
I was walking towards it, when 3 youths appeared on fast Ebikes. One got off and chopped the fence up with an electric chainsaw. Then they all sped off.
Part 2 of BBC4's "The South Pacific". I learned so much.
It took 5 suggested scifi films until I found one worth watching.
I watched "Nobody". It's a slow burner, then goes full throttle.
