The only cooking oil in ASDA was Crisp and Dry at £1.50 per litre. I searched the ethnic shelves and found rapeseed at £1.09/litre.

No oil or flour in Lidl, and the UHT milk was almost all gone.

Gym?  Thought you said Gin.

I read somewhere about a shortage of cooking oil. Sounds like others have read the same. None of the 1 litre bottles at Morrisons. Bread flour almost tripled in price. Same with pasta. Here we go again  ::)

8kg of Sodium Percarbonate bleach powder. It's the active ingredient in products like Vanish, and via ebay it's a fifth the price.

Got my Rapeseed oil OK today, but cooking oils were in  short supply

France is ramping-up its import of peanut oil. It's a great frying oil.

An inline fuse for the battery charger lead.

I now know that Aldi does 75% mark-down at 5pm each evening.

So we now have a freezer full of extra large chickens and rindless, lean pork belly slices.

I tried a Morrisons delivery through Amazon and it was brilliant. Ordered at 11am and it was at my door at 6pm all packed in strong cardboard bags.
They texted me if a product not available as they shopped and showed me what they could sub it with.
My veg is fresh and not wilting in plastic bags with tomorrow's date on it.

Many bottles of pop. A CO2 shortage is on the cards, and the lad goes through it like nobody's business.

I looked in Iceland Depot and was shocked at the meat prices. Boneless chicken thighs used to be a great price there, now they are £6.50 a kg!  :-X  Still only £4.50 in Aldi, so I bought them there.

Sainsburys has not had a tobacco restock in 12 days, so I only managed to buy 5 packs.

El

I called in Morrisons for his cigs today and same thing. She only had 5 pkt of L&B longer lasting. She said there was no more in the back  ::)  I hope they are not thinking of stopping selling them  :o
Or waiting for another bloody price increase!

A few more LED lamps as they were in twin packs 3-for-2.

The missus' tonic water has gone up from 39p to 45p (15%).

Reduced cronuts, berliners and pain au chocolat. Rose syrup, loads of chicken wings, and fish to make kedgeree tomorrow.

Tâf

Instant mash from USA, down to £1. They all loved the last one I bought.

Cigs are getting harder to get. Asda has stopped selling over half their usual list, Tesco and Sainsburys are the same.
