Cigs are getting harder to get. Asda has stopped selling over half their usual list, Tesco and Sainsburys are the same.
I have to keep swapping what I get him. I only found out the difference between red, blue, bright, silver and gold yesterday.
He used to like L&B longer lasting. Couldn't get them so got him B&H blue. This week he is on JPS red. All superkings, all nigh on the same price. Some smell more than others though?

We buy Chesterfield, a Swiss company that uses Virginia leaf and Turkish tobacco. They have a mild taste with no acrid aftertaste or smoke.

A replacement can of Cocoa Cola Interstellar that the lad swiped off Pol.

A new skirt, a new top and 2 pair of cropped pants. It felt good to treat myself.

My mini FM radio for the garden is failing, so I have been looking in all the usual places for a replacement. Nope. They are all DAB things that chew up batteries in hours.

Then I spotted a simple Digital FM portable in B&M, reduced to £6. Perfect, although a little tinny. Press one button, and it comes on at the same volume on the same station.

The compost in Wickes was awful, but Miracle Grow compost was at the same price in Morrisons.

I bought some indulgent stuff for us in Morrisons and Sainsburys. If we couldn't afford it today, we definitely couldn't in a few months' time.

24 bottles of wine to restock.

The lad came shopping with me and spent zero as usual.

£203 for a replacement dental crown for the missus after infection got under the last one.

Rapeseed oil. 3 litres max in Tesco, just under £1.50 per litre, it was 89p a few months ago.

Crisp and dry is £3.30 per litre!!!

The March to June fuel bill. That is eye-watering considering I've not had the heating on since April and I've been so careful with the electricity.  It's usually 250 -£300 at this quarter but its just shy of £400 . Bloody standing bloody charge!

Aldi's nukeable burgers went up from 85p to 99p, then from £1.09 to £1.39 today.  :-\

A pulse oximeter from Lidl.

The lad read 99%.
