Had very loud 'music' blasting from speakers at the enterance to the shop today. I do not do loud. Took my trade elsewhere.  Got not quite what I wanted but close enough.

So many places, now, insist on playing muzack really loud. Lots are blaring ads, over their tannoy, too. Places like Wilkinson's.

Sod that.

I just shove my headphones in and ignore it. I used to just be getting into a song when....CUSTOMER SERVICE TO TILL 3 !!!! ..Used to jump out my skin  ;D
So I put my own choice of music in, it stops them mithering too  ::) then I take headphones out when I get to the till.

Always chuggers inside the entrance now, or someone doing a 50 mile row.......

I just ignore the shaky bucket lot.  Many of them are in for a 30% cut.  I give directly to the needy

Bloody packaging  :-X  a really large box delivered today from my girls. The box was three feet by two feet and on opening there was masses of brown paper hiding another bloody box. In that box was a wok (whoopee) complete with its own cardboard and plastic protection.
Not the girls fault cos they didn't pack it, but why all the paper? It's ridiculous.
Opened my shopping from tesco...a box round the toothpaste...a box round a bottle of disinfectant. ..a box round 6 tins of dog food...cellophane and a pissin box round four apples  ???
