 Brill!  :D
I had one, back in the day when they were popular. Don't ask I can't remember. I do remember Paul broke it though

Yes. In the 70s. But they'd been around for a while, as my parents had one in the early 60s.

I had one in the late 70s. You needed to keep very slow growing plants in them and be sure the cork was tight.

Getting hold of a large jar or carboy would be expensive these days.

i'd quite like one of these.
I had a similar thing for years, but it was wasn't one that was corked/shut as a consequence i eventually killed it.
But one that doesn't need care is perfect ;D

I've got one. Had for years. But, whatever I put in it died.

Got some plastic/fibre plants in it, now.

Looks great!  :)

Thanks for your answer. The 70th are much too early for me.  ::)

I would like to try such a bottle garden. Which plants do I need for it?

Are the bottles full of plants or full of liquid?
