Hot and Sour soup recipe

To 600ml of boiling water add 1 chicken stock cube, about 100gm of finely sliced pork or chicken, 4 Tbsp of rice wine vinegar, 1tspn of white pepper, about 200gm of finely sliced veggies (I use carrot and bamboo shoot, but sometimes add mushroom, beansprouts, spring onion and/or water chestnuts).

Cook for a couple of minutes until the meat is done, then add 2Tbsp of cornflour slaked in a little water to thicken.

Finally add a dash of sesame oil and dribble a beaten egg in to make eggy threads.
