Chainsaw and tree shredder. Our neighbours had a complaint about  a tree in their garden last year. Today the council has sent lumberjacks.

They won't be culling the leylandii (spit) though.  :'(

I would love to become a professional whistler. I'm pretty amazing at it now, but I wanna get, like, even better... and make my living out of it.

Birds twittering in the trees at the back of our garden. Lovely sound - we used to miss that in Ashford - there, ours was the only garden with trees in it, and they were only small trees at that!

Here, we get a medley of different birds - starlings, magpies, tits, wood pigeons, house sparrows, swallows (they aren't actually in the trees, they are under the eaves!) - heard a cuckoo nearby last week!! - and we get nightingales in the evenings, too!  :D

Oddly enough, not seen any finches here though.  :-\ Neighbour in the flat downstairs doesn't just have a bird table - she has a banquet!!

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
