Flu Jabs.
« on: September 17, 2016, 14:35:54 PM »
When I collected a prescription form yesterday, I notice an A5 notice advertising the upcoming flu jab sessions.

"10 to 12 on 3rd October, 2 to 4 on the 31st October"

A very large catchment area with a lot of old folks, and 4 hours is all they can offer to give them all jabs?

Had mine today, my surgery wrote to everybody and they are doing 9-11 three consecutive Saturdays plus any other day if you are prepared to wait for a clinician, or if you have an appointment they will do it then, very efficient they started early and were up to 59 when I arrived, I had number 89 and was out in under 10 minutes

Usually book it with my asthma review in Oct.  But will have to ask about somebody visiting for Chris to have one.

Not had one this year. Heard several friends saying how it made them feel ill for days and thought it sounds like a more than averagely toxic batch.
