A new bed. £1200 but that includes a mattress topper, 4 new pillows and a 5 year guarantee on both bed and mattress which is worth  every penny, as it replaces old for new if the mattress sags!

ASDA had loads of veg and fruit knocked down to 10p. So I bought mushrooms and chinese noodles to stir fry tomorrow, and tomatoes for a salad today.

Ordered a new kettle, and a wire shower curtain rail from wayfair.co.uk. The same model kettle was around £20 more everywhere else I found it.

Tyre inflator for his wheelchair.  Got rid of loads of stuff with the car which would have been very handy now.
Anyhow, I'm too old to try and manual pump these bloody tyres now.

Memory card for my phone. I looked all over the net, but 1Gb, 2Gb, 4Gb, 8Gb, 16Gb and 32Gb were all the same price (and half the price of supermarkets). So 32Gb made more sense, despite it meaning millions of photos with this phone.

Then Pol appeared with a 512Mb one she didn't need...  :-\
