6 filter water bottles for the lad. His first bottle disintegrated internally, the second (a freebie from the company) leaks like a sieve, and so a mate of mine offered me 6 for £15 as he reckons he'll never sell them (out of production).

Got 14 filters from them for under a quid each. That's ll last him years (1 filter every 240 refills).

I also bought ice cream.

A load of less than half price Strongbow and McKewans Export cans at ASDA, Reduced because they were caught in the rain outside the storage area.

A handhald vac, again under half price in ASDA as it was the last one in stock.

New tassimo. Got the My way one . Bigger tank and more variation in cup size and strength. I don't like espresso or farty little cup coffee. And bonus is he can press that one button and make me a cup of coffee with my tea.

3kg of onions at 50p/kg. The price has shot up recently, so even the market traders can't buy them wholesale under 60p/kg. But ASDA has warehouses full of them.

Antihistamines.  I usually buy the branded ones like piriton when they are on offer and have a stock in.
But I'm having a go at tesco own. £2.75 as opposed to  £10. When did they go to that stupid price?

Will have a look. A bean to cup might fall into my basket too.
Delonghi magnifica is I thing £278 with very good reviews. Some ate £800 down to £378 but according to reviews are just bells and whistles making same coffee.

I needed windscreen wipers, 1 16" and 2 19". Aldi had 3 packs left, 1 16" and 2 19". And they were half price!

I also needed waterproofing spray for the lad's coat. There were 3 left in Aldi, and they were half price too.

I have been looking for Cape Daisy seed, and Lidl had them in for the first time today. 39p.

I also had the 3 last packs of kebab meat in Farm foods, and they are now 650g up from 500g, plus on a 3-for-a-fiver offer.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Tesco miscalculated BBQ weather so they had loads of Chinese chicken thighs down to £1 from £4. Many are in our freezer now, 2 trays in the oven to eat cold tomorrow.
