My desktop has just upgraded to version 1803, takes about an hour and a quarter

I had an auto upgrade to Panda AV yesterday that took almost 2 hours!  :o

Heh... I have updates disabled.

When I feel the urge, I use WSUS Offline Update, so that I can have some control over what gets installed. I also leave it for at least a month, so that others find the fukkups before I do.

It's worth keeping an eye on https://www.ghacks.net/category/windows because he reports any fukkups that get found.
