Had my afternoon fresh air, and boy is it fresh

No idea. I have a list of "non-essential items" building up, but still no sign of when we'll be allowed to shop in person for them.

1.8Kg of Echalion (Banana) shallots peeled and now brining for pickling tomorrow.

The root base plates, normally waste for most people, are now in a tray of damp compost to see how many take root and give me free plants.
