I realize this board is new, but how about some history on it?  When was it started?  I think I read it was moved from ezboard.  How long had it been there?

Inquiring minds want to know!!

ok i will try to anwer this as best i can..

On the 21st of august a year ago i was looking for a chatroom to add to my then homepage. i stumbled across proboards.com and decided a board would be cool.
The forum started of as mrselnombre's and had a bizarre colour scheme of purple, gold and green (i think), anna was one of the first members to join and she gladly took the position of global mod, and was promoted in months, the board evolved then to mrselnombre's forum'o'stuff with a purple and blue colour scheme, members came and went and Kay was brought in as the new global (we also had another two mods at one point, ruth and chardonnay),
Then the current colour scheme was introduced (as designed by anna) and when we decided that we wanted to have more control and the right to have adult topics, i went on a search for a host...
The old board address was http://mrselnombre.proboards10.com

We have tried our best to make this board pleasant, members were and will continue to be consulted on the big decisions.

And hopefully anna can fill any gaps i have left.....

She forgot to mention how great I am and that I thought of the name 'total twaddle'  ;)

No, I think Lisa has covered everything apart from how much advertising we do and how we are always open to new ideas etc...

So does the name "Total Twaddle" have any great meaning?  And what sorts of methods are you using to advertise?

The members of this board who i had only known for such a short time were tremendous when i lost my husband Michael last november especcially Lisa and Anna who arranged for a huge bouquet of flowers to be sent to me from themselves and all the members of the old board and they have been there for when i have needed to cry talk or whatever Lisa never fails to email me if she does not hear from me for a while.I thought i would add this to let you know not only is it a pleasant board to be a member of the Admin Lisa and Anna are very caring about thier members  and i want to thank them for being here for me :D

Thank you Kay - that was lovely (I am all glowing now!!).
As Kay said we are like a network of support/friends for anyone who needs us - whether it is sympathy or congratultions we like to share in your news.

I have also had business cards printed that when they come myself and my sis-in-law are going to go round town on a Saturday night and 'accidently' leave them in pub loo's etc....  :)
I have already left some print outs of the address on the tables in the canteen at work !!

Ever thought of doing something w/ cafepress?  I uploaded a Kitty-Cam logo and ordered some t-shirts & mugs.  I honestly don't expect anyone else to buy the stuff, but still proudly wear my t-shirt around town!!

You can see my cafepress store on Kitty-Cam by clicking the appropriate link in the left column.

I'll add a link to Kitty-Cam for the board when I do my next round of updates.

Why was this thread at the top of the section all of the sudden?

I told you, I don't read....had I read more, I wouldn't be such a shmuck.

Good job too, otherwise I wouldnt have known all about how you started out. It made for interesting reading 'Lisa'.
