One day I'll have a garage to keep it in (and the insurance will be a lot cheaper than without a garage) !!
...and then you'll hit 50 years old and your insurance will drop at last... ::)

Believe it or not, my insurance wasn't that bad (considering the car and the area) if I'd had a garage.
When I mentioned that it was going to be parked on a public road, I think the woman on the end of the phone fell off her seat !!
As to your second point ... I'll go back to asking what you've heard first - just curious to see what the gossip level is like here !!)

Only heard about your posh car.... nothing about the rest of your life... though if you're spending on posh cars you can't be spending too much on a woman!

Well the posh car went back :'( ... when I move (soon hopefully) and get a house with a garage (again hopefully), I'll be on the look out for another one !!
As for a woman - surely modern women are not into the whole "guys should pay for it anyway" thing (or am I completely wrong with that) ??
