After research I suspect the problem is that issue of a missing htaccess file.....

Error log now empty of problems.

So why is it still occurring

Hmmm... That thread won't fully load, now. It gets to Fred's "The Oh No Poo" part and just hangs.

I keep getting "Server under stress" errors, when trying to view "Show new replies to your posts."

Dunno if it's related.
