To drive to the hospital, a mile away, the speed limit goes:
30, 20, 30, 50, 15, 10, 5 mph.
To drive back it goes:
5, 15, 40, 20, 30 mph.
But the Labour-controlled Welsh Arsembly wants it to change to:
20, 15, 10, 5 mph.
With the return trip being:
5, 15, 20 mph.
My street and a few sections of local streets are now 20...
No one listens though

Camera have gone up all over the place, but they aren't legally allowed to be switched on yet. £millions spent already.
simples. stay below the limit and avoid probs
Round here the main issue is traffic lights. I have never seen so many crammed into a small city! Speed cameras are common, too - most the old type but average speed in some busier roads. 30mph is common, even on dual carriageways - we live near the Tavistock Road and it's 30 where we join it, and it's dual carriageway there.
The main drag through this part of the city has just been dropped from 40 to 30. And the main (dual carriageway with no pavements) out to the M4 has dropped from 70 to 50.
