There was a distinct pause in the rain, so I set off. 5 minutes later, the deluge returned. Drains unable to cope, so I often couldn't see the kerb until a truck pulled-in in front of me and cleared most of the standing water.
At one point there was a foot of water over 50 yards!
Ditto on the way back. Traffic was creeping along.
I got home and it stopped.....

Started sunny, but clouded over now
Soggy with lots of blue at 6c.
Within minutes of my return from Aldi, the sky opened for a 10-minute deluge. 1cm hail for a few seconds too. Since then, it's been blue, grey, black and showery.

It stayed mostly blue all day, but the wind was NASTY. 17c!

Rain last night, cloudy now
A squall line with lightning, stretching from almost London to Swansea, fizzled out as it was about to hit here. But rain came behind it.
9c, lots of blue and drying now.
Just a couple of brief showers, but it's getting gloomier, so bigger clouds on the way.

A wet evening and night, 8c with blue now, but a large amount of rain is on its way.

The BBC said "wet and windy", so it's dry and calm. But at an incredible 17c at 8am! :o

How unusual, it's raining again
We've just had about an hour of soaking invisidrizzle. And now a break in the clouds is allowing a red sunset!
Very wet
Bits of blue, so very bright, but it's blowing a hoolie from the NW. 7c.
Periods of warm sunshine, then gloomy. And all with a nasty NW wind. :cold:
Pol got caught in a short, but heavy shower between the bus stop and our home. A Primark bag turned to papier mache.
Gloomy with invisidrizzle now at 8c. Oddly, the barometer has risen to Fair. ???

Hazy sun and warmer
Heavy showers and drizzle all day and most of the evening. So it's not surprising that it is dank and dreary with invisidrizzle now at 11c.

It slowly got hazier and hazier, the wind stayed warm, and it didn't rain!

20 minutes later it clouded over, the wind changed direction and got stronger... and colder!

A heavy squall line passed over about 8 and woke me. 9c with a blustery wind and lots of blue now.

Still blustery with lots of blue, but the wind has died down. The lumpy showers haven't. 9c.
Almost solid blue, and that strong and blustery wind is back. 9c.

Still dry, but overcast with bits of blue with a gentler gusty wind at 7c.
A heavy sunshower prior to lunch followed by some spiting. Sunnier now at 12c.
A haze appeared, so only a couple of stars were visible. That cover kept us warmer at 6c, so the 0c and frost didn't happen. Solid blue now, with loads of contrails.

The day ended with a bit of blue, but today it's overcast, dry and blowy at 9c. There's a lot of rain stuck in the Irish Sea that might come this way.
