A starry night, so it dropped-off rapidly. Not long after dark, a car drove past with the sound of wipers on ice.

Hazy blue at -4c now.

5c and still blue.

Dull but slightly warmer

It went from light grey to dark grey then almost black. And now it's spitting.

Light rain has arrived.

Wet overnight, cloudy but warmer now

8c, grey and damp.

The first rain of the day arrived just before sunset. 11c.

Raining now and getting windier

The wind built up, and there was a splattering of rain, but it was not really "stormy".  7c and bright overcast now, and the river is dropping back to normal.

Heavy rain overnight, wind was not as bad as forecast, now still and dry
