The patio thermometer read a bonkers 39c on the patio at 5:40pm, so I checked with my certified thermometer and that also read 39c! 35c in the shade at the bottom of the garden and 28c in the bedroom.

A haze blocked all the stars again, they are a rare sight now. But the almost full moon blasted through.

The haze has cleared now, 21c, and the gusty wind is back, but for once it is welcome.
