I shall nip over to Aldi for chicken thighs. I put off buying them in Lidl yesterday as they would have got too warm in the car.

So I opted to buy them in ASDA.

Lidl price around £4.50 kg.

ASDA price £5.90!!!

Food shop done, u3a history group on zoom at 10.30

No internet, so I cracked-on in the garden, All the tomatoes and cucumbers are now out in the raised bed, the small toms are in their final pots in the greenhouse, and the oregano and mesembryanthemums repotted.

Still only one bean has sprouted.

The patio door glass was replaced as the builders had left the originals totally scratched. They now look good. Spent the rest of the day doing housework ad watching TV.

Drop the ladies off for a clinic. Then wait for them to call to be collected.

Then they want to go to Tesco.

Repaired a garden clock. Did running repairs on patio furniture whilst I wait for the right timber to come back into stock. Watered the pots and troughs as the wind has been so drying today.

Clean the greenhouse. It might be easier to use a vac to pick up the dried leaves.
