Got the bread, but the prescriptions were not ready. In fact, the GP had not done them.

Got them, then asked about flu jabs. No stocks for at least a fortnight. No pneumonia jabs available either.

I overheard 2 young women trying to ask a security guard something. It was barely English. Then one of them asked in perfect French, but the guard shook his head. I asked, in French, if I could help.

They were new to the area and had got lost on their way to an interview at a local Care Home. I explained where it was, and offered to show them most of the way, as it was on my route. As we walked, I was told that they were Ukrainian students who had been working and studying in London when Russia invaded. They had run out of money so had come to Cardiff to live with a cousin, and were having an interview at the Care Home in under an hour. I pointed to the Care Home further up the street and they hiked away. Nice people.

Food shop done, and complete chaos, they are adding a Gregg's to the store and everything is chaos and in different places

A minor shopping trip. An excuse to go for a trip more than anything else.
