It's the twins' birthday, so Pol is taking the missus to town, and they are having lunch at 5 Guys. The lad is totally disinterested with celebrating.

Bowel screening call at 9:30, then shopping this afternoon.

I picked-up the missus' bread and pâtisserie order at 9 this morning. Nothing else to do all day.

Family covid jabs in a couple of hours, then shopping at Morrisons.

A friend of a friend said he would chat with me on FB about the neighbour's faulty front door lock mechanism. He didn't appear, then my friend said that they had both been called into work.

Hopefully get the info on door lock mechanisms so that I can secure the neighbours' outer door.

The missus wants me to take her to a farmer's market to met the French baker. I'll see my chillimate at the same time to get a bottle of Merthyrshire Sauce.

I got the info, went across the road to do the repairs, only to be told that "someone" had lifted the door handle, causing it to lock. And now it's stuck. I tried to free it, but it's solid.

She called a locksmith for tomorrow to take the door hinges off and replace the lock.

She has been quoted "around £200 plus VAT".
