Changed the car's internal lamps for white LEDs. Now I can see in there!

I also removed and dried one of the side indicator units and dried it. I found that the glue holding it together had cracked, so I reglued it after drying.

The fluorescent "flag" that the missus uses to spot our car has now been fitted to the aerial.

The wheel trims are now tied-down with silver tie-wraps.

I found 2 small splits in the rubber boot door seals. Once I know we're going to be dry for a while, I have special glue to repair them.

Not much, but I need to sort out what stuff has to be returned to the car (spare bulbs, fuses, rags, etc.).

Just been on the phone to the bodyshop and they didn't get the parts until Friday, they are in the paint shop now and hopefully I will get the car back Friday

Drop Pol off for an eye appointment, then take the lad shoping.

The ladies want me to take them shopping as they both want new specs from ASDA. The prices at our usual optician are obscene.

Walked to the river and took some photos to calm locals down on our FB page. It would have to rise another 3 metres to spill over the dyke.

Just been and picked up the car at last after 8 weeks I'm mobile again

Up early for phone appointment with GP to renew prescription for another 6 months,will collect later

No plans, but I need to nip over to ALDI for a couple of things.

No plans as yet. There's a dead goldfish in the pond, so I'll have to get it out. The changeable temperatures probably woke it from torpor and used up its fat reserves.
