At last, the dentist's phone was answered. The entire system had locked-up since last Tuesday. Outgoing calls only.

No appointments until mid-February until I mentioned the abscess. 10:15 appointment this morning with the boss.

Haircut done, took me 5 mins to find a parking spot in the retail park, and filled up with petrol

The antibiotics turned up 2 hours late "due to the f***ing 20 mph limits".
