Phone call with my sister this morning

I have stuff to do in the garden, but just can't get myself moving again.

10% off everything in Lidl, so I'm taking the missus there, then on to ASDA.

I have things to do, but no enthusiasm to start anything.

In the past few months, orders for timber have been accepted, the money taken, then the order has been marked "out of stock" and the money refunded. That is the main DIY stores. The only timber merchant says they "cannot" supply to the public at the moment as they don't have drivers to make deliveries. That has been the response since last summer.

So the repairs and builds in the garden are still on standby.  :grumpy:

The huge Hemp Agrimony that appeared near the front door needs to be tied back as it is blocking the path.

No plans outside as it is still too soggy. I tried 3 other timber merchants, and it's obvious they will only sell to businesses.

The missus was the first to try the new shower yesterday afternoon. I was cooking directly below when drips appeared on the back burner, then on my head, then further back, coming out of the light fitting. Her weight had split the wall-to-bath seal.  :-\

I spent hours removing the quadrant tiling, removing all the old silicone, then sealing the gap. It has gone-off now, so I just have to put on a second layer before refitting the quadrants. The whole house smells of vinegar.

And on top of that, the lad broke the bathroom toilet seat hinges.

The twins and I will take turns to test the seal around the bath by trying out the new shower.
