Luckily I checked about the scan. They changed location a couple of years ago to a loft above a huge office building in the city centre, but had failed to send out details to most of us due today.

Whilst in the area, I dropped into the new HMRC building and asked why no-one is answering the bl**dy phones.  The answer was concise, and well-practiced "Many staff are WFH, so have staggered meal times when they don't accept calls".
